• Invest $3.8 billion over ten years to expand mental health and addiction services through the Roadmap to Wellness: A Plan to Build Ontario’s Mental Health and Addictions System. This year’s budget provides $204 million for mental health and addictions services • Focus on four pillars to improve the province’s mental health and addictions system through: improving quality, expanding existing services, implementing innovative solutions, and improving access • Establish the Mental Health and Addictions Centre of Excellence to coordinate the delivery of services and serve as a central point of accountability and oversight for mental health and addictions care |

• $1 million to support planning for a new First Responders Post Traumatic Stress Injury Rehabilitation Centre at Runnymede Healthcare Centre • $3.2 million over three years to establish a Mental Health Support Unit to provide confidential counselling services, mental health tools and training programs for frontline court staff • Building a new Francophone community health centre to consolidate primary care, nursing, and mental health and addictions services in one modern facility |

| Addictions care and the opioid crisis | • Reduce the risk of death caused by opioid overdoses in workplaces by requiring employers with a known risk to provide a naloxone kit and training in workplaces where overdoses are a potential hazard |
