CMHA's IChooseMHA.ca campaign has generatedsignificant social media buzz and received provincial and local media exposure, highlighting the issues for the community mental health and addictions system that are impacting how Ontarians access care in this province.
CMHA Ontario CEO Camille Quenneville was part of a panel discussion on TVO’s The Agenda on May 11, 2022 to discuss what we need to do improve the mental health in Ontario and the party platforms on the issue. The panel included guests Tatum Wilson, CEO of Children’s Mental Health Ontario; Dr. Kwame McKenzie, CEO of the Wellesley Institute and professor at U of T; and Dr. Thomas Ungar, University of Toronto professor and psychiatrist at St. Michaels Hospital.
